NAFTA Speicher GmbH & Co. KG is a modern company with its headquarters in Schechen near Rosenheim. We have 45 years of experience as an operator of underground natural gas storage facilities. With our three natural gas storage facilities in Breitbrunn/Eggstätt, Inzenham-West and Wolfersberg, we contribute to security of gas supply in Germany.
To strengthen our team in Schechen near Rosenheim, we are now looking for
Reservoir Engineer (m/f/d)
Job description:
- Central contact person for the Reservoir Engineering function at NAFTA Speicher and for coordinated topics at the parent company NAFTA a.s.
- Reservoir and performance monitoring of reservoir and well portfolio, preparing repots based on this
- Analysis, planning and coordination of the implementation of storage and production optimisation measures
- Preparation of reservoir and production forecasts and plans in cooperation with other departments
- Contributing to the planning of the investment and cost budget and to the preparation of internal/external approval submissions
- Contributing to the preparation of operating plans and notifications under mining law
- Supporting the implementation of planned underground works if necessary
- Active promoting of safe working practice and the principles of QHSE
- Contributing to the achievement of NAFTA Speicher goals
- Supervision of trainees and interns in the Underground Engineering Department in the field of reservoir engineering
Requirements profile:
- In addition to German, you have a good skill in written and spoken English (at least B2 level).
- Completed university studies in the field of petroleum and reservoir engineering
- Preparedness for operational assignments
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of reservoir engineering
- Ability to work in a team, proactivity and reliability, a structured way of working.
- IT affinity / MS-Office / SAP basic knowledge is of an advantage
- Good knowledge of Petroleum Experts (PROSPER, MBAL, GAP, etc.)
- Active support of departments and areas inside and outside NAFTA Speicher in topics such as digitalisation or automation as well as forcing knowledge and experience exchange
- Practical experience in dealing with occupational safety and environmental protection
